Little Puppet Studio
~ in the Berkshires of Massachusetts and bordering regions ~

Little Puppet Studio is supported by a grant from the Martha Boschen Porter Fund, a Fund of Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation.

Libraries & Museums

Libraries and museums are more important than ever in the lives of children, striving to bring literature and culture into their grasp. Puppetry is a magnet attracting children to your venue.

We will bring the story behind a piece of artwork, your favorite literature, a historical event, or a natural science topic to life.

The Program

Your patrons are the puppeteers. School-aged children, teens, and adults enjoy a hands-on experience performing the show. They are a part of the process from start to finish. Together we share the story, choose parts, puppets, sound effects instruments, and prepare the set and scenery. We rehearse the play. The group is now ready to perform.

The Puppeteers

Your audience gathers at the advertised time and the performance begins.  As the puppeteers move freely in and out of the audience with the marionettes during the performance, even babies and preschoolers are engaged and enchanted. At the end of your show, the audience is invited to play on the sets with the puppets and props.
